In our increasingly interconnected and global world, the ways in which we connect with others, both as people and professionals, are rapidly changing. New digital media have brought the tools of communication to our finger tips—but the same old question remains. How to communicate effectively with others? Technological advancement, globalisation and the proliferation of media channels have also given rise to new opportunities and challenges.
Therefore, the objective of the programme is to foster the skills of critical enquiry and communication through interdisciplinary studies and a hands-on training of both traditional and new media, fundamental to various professional paths. Students would be encouraged to think, read, visualise, produce, edit, and ideate as journalists, editors, web editors, television producers and anchors. The program shapes students into communication professionals who can thrive in diverse work environments.
